Attention all hydraulic equipment owners, engineers, techicians and mechanics..."With the same formulaic certainty as a McDonald's franchise, whether you're new to hydraulics or a seasoned veteran, I can train you in the profitable specialization of hydraulic equipment maintenance."
Dear Hydraulics User, Let me start off by making a BIG promise: If you will master the skill of hydraulic equipment maintenance, you will hold in your hands the key to saving and pocketing a wad of money...
As I said, this is a big promise and perhaps you are not yet convinced. But I'm convinced if you read the rest of this short letter and take advantage of the opportunity that is presented to you… then "THANK YOU BRENDAN" will become your mantra. Let me prove it to you…For many years I eked out a respectable living working for different companies in the hydraulics industry. But in 2000, I went out on my own. And looking back from where I am today, THE most valuable education I got while working inside the industry -- in hydraulic repair shops specifically, was being able to learn from the (mostly expensive) mistakes I saw being made by hundreds of hydraulic equipment owners. When I started out on my own, I could have opened a hydraulic repair shop and done very well for myself. But as the saying goes, if you want unusual success, you have to do unusual things. So I kinda did the opposite. I analyzed the many hundreds of hydraulic component failures I'd seen over the years, organized them into groups according to cause, and then identified and developed practical methods for their prevention. When I began to teach these principles… and experienced extraordinary success… I was hooked. I became obsessed with improving and advancing my knowledge in the cost-effective maintenance of hydraulic equipment. And this obsession has paid off handsomely. Fast forward to today….Today I am financially independent and free to work where I want, when I want and on whatever I chose. For example, last December and January I based myself in Vancouver, Canada, so I could teach my seven year old son how to ski. And I've just completed a soon to be published children's book - made possible only because of the total control I have over my other professional commitments. I do NOT tell you this to brag, but to make the point that if there is one thing above all else which I attribute to the level of success I currently enjoy, it is the decision I made to pursue hydraulic equipment maintenance as a specialization. So what makes THIS knowledge so Valuable?Firstly, as you're probably already aware, hydraulic components are very expensive to repair or replace. And so when a hydraulic equipment owner doesn't get maximum mileage from them, it can really hurt his bottom line. Secondly, the information you need to prevent premature failures and maximize the service life of hydraulic equipment isn't as widely available as you might think. You won't find it in the machine manual and it's not taught in everyday, 'how-it-works', hydraulics classes. As a consequence, most owners, operators, mechanics, technicians and engineers are clueless when it comes to hydraulic equipment maintenance. And I'm not alone in this view:
Of course, it's NOT their fault! They just haven't been given the chance to learn. BUT at the same time, this presents a fabulous opportunity for anyone who DOES possess this specialized know-how... Now I want to give YOU the same opportunity to learn all my techniques and secretsI didn't go to University to master this. And as far as I know you can't. There's no such University program or course. But you don't need to either. Because it's not rocket science, and anyone with sound mechanical aptitude can absorb it quickly. I proved this by doing a series of live seminars in which I taught my hydraulic maintenance 'system' to a broad spectrum of hydraulic equipment users, mechanics, technicians and maintenance supervisors from industries as diverse as meat abattoirs and mining...
Whatever your reason for not attending one of these seminars, it doesn't matter. Because the manuals and DVD recordings of the event are available for a fraction of what it would have cost you to attend. AND it means you don't have to travel any further than your office or living room to get this knowledge transfer. I call it my 'Hydraulic Breakdown Prevention Blueprint' which aptly describes the objective of the system - to prevent failures and breakdowns, but the content of the program is squarely advanced hydraulic maintenance.
Here's how it works: The 4 DVDs come with a study guide and workbook. The workbook exercises comprise a 7-step, maintenance and reliability 'audit' on an actual piece of hydraulic equipment. The objective being, once you've gone through the process, you'll be able to adapt and apply the same template to the hydraulic equipment YOU own or work on. The program is structured so you watch part of the presentation on your TV or computer, then pause the DVD, complete an exercise from the workbook, and then restart the DVD to join in its discussion and explanation. And the accompanying study-guide is a lightning reference for use before, during and after you progress through the program. The 4 DVDs run for a total of 306 minutes, so I don't have the space here to tell you about everything that's covered. The following is only small taste of what's in store...
So what's the price of admission? In many ways, this is the wrong question to ask. The question you should be asking is … How much money can I MAKE or SAVE

I recently conducted failure analysis and a reliability audit on a 300 kilowatt hydrostatic transmission. The hydraulic system was running a synthetic ester, biodegradable hydraulic fluid. This $12/liter hydraulic fluid had been destroyed in less than 12 months and a set of pumps shortly after. So with $20,000 worth of hydraulic fluid and $50,000 worth of pumps ruined in short order, my client was understandably wondering what went wrong. The system was built and installed by a reputable distributor. From a hydraulic engineering perspective the circuit was adequately designed and the system well built. But from a maintenance and reliability perspective it left a lot to be desired. My client, the end user, didn't have a lot of experience with hydraulic equipment and was reliant on the company that built the system to guide them on its maintenance. An oil analysis program had been set up, but it seems the only thing anyone was taking any notice of was particle contamination. All the warning signs pointing to oxidative failure of the oil went unnoticed. The oil started degrading, coating internal components with sludge. These gum-like deposits block lubrication passages, reduce heat transfer and cause valve stiction. The oxidation process diminishes foaming resistance and air release properties of the oil, which in turn causes damage through aeration and cavitation. By the time I got involved, the original set of pumps had already failed and the hydraulic oil had an Acid Number of 10 and water content of 6,500 parts per million. So I set about establishing the root cause of failure and instigating measures to ensure it didn't happen again. |
As I've said already, it's not rocket science - far from it. But the problem for my client was the information they needed to prevent this maintenance disaster was not readily available to them.
The principles and procedures I put in place to prevent a reoccurrence of the failures described above, are the same ones I walk you through, step-by-step in my Hydraulic Breakdown Prevention Blueprint.
Had my client had this information and applied it diligently in the beginning, they could have saved themselves more than $70,000 - and a lot of downtime and aggravation.
How much would you be prepared to spend to save yourself, the company you work for, or your client $70,000, $10,000 or even just a couple of grand? As you can see from this case study, an investment of a few hundred bucks is VERY easy to justify - and not hard to recover.
But just in case you're someone who needs to justify your investment with an 'apples to apples' comparison, consider this:
The people who attended these seminars paid $600 and had to take a day off work. Many travelled considerable distances by air or road and stayed overnight in hotels. So they had travel, meal and accommodation expenses on top.
It's fair to say that attending the event "live" was at least a $1,000 commitment for most. Yet everyone who attended thought it was money well spent.
And this is why your investment of only $397 for this program is such a bargain. That's a saving of at least $600 on what it would have cost you to attend and less than a drum of good quality hydraulic oil.
PLUS - as I've already explained, you only need to learn one thing that solves a problem or prevents a failure and you've recovered this modest investment - by a large multiple.
But that's not all ...
If you respond before you'll also get a one-hour email/skype/phone consult with me. What's the benefit of this? Well, for you to get maximum value from this program, you have to apply what you learn. This FREE bonus is designed to assist you in that process.
If you have any questions - about the content of the system or how to go about applying it to the hydraulic equipment you own or work on, you can "pick my brains" - for no charge. I routinely charge $250 per hour for advice on maintenance and reliability matters, so this IS a $250 value.
And I'd be surprised if during this consult I can't point out something that will more than save you the cost of your entire investment in this program. - but only if you act before midnight, this . Obviously, I can't do this for everyone - so hesitate and you'll miss out.
PLUS everything comes with a...
100% Money Back,

Just in case you're still not convinced, let's go over some of the reasons which might be holding you back:
Reason #1 - You've already done hydraulics training.
It's important to understand this program does NOT resemble any vocational or similar course you may have completed or seen offered - in any way, shape or form. In fact, it's not a "how-it-works" hydraulics class at all. To the best of my knowledge, I'm the only hydraulics professional presenting this type of training. So it's definitely a unique program.Reason #2 - You're doing "just fine" as you are.
That's quite likely if all your hydraulic machines are properly designed and you've got 20-plus years of "learn-the-hard-way" maintenance experience on hydraulic equipment. But there's always room for improvement. And the tools, tips and strategies I'll hand you will make whatever proactive maintenance you're already doing… even better.Reason #3 - It's too expensive.
As I've already explained, if you or the business you work for has any hydraulic equipment at all, then the investment is peanuts. Because the return you get will be measured by a large multiple.
Frankly, if you have any kind of responsibility for hydraulic equipment at all, I can't think of any good reason why you wouldn't grab this program today:
You get a proven system for saving (or making) money - mapped out for you;
You get to use it in the comfort of your own home or office - and at your convenience;
You get a wealth of knowledge you can refer to and use for training others - over and over;
The investment is less than the cost of a drum of decent hydraulic oil;
You only have to pick up one thing to recover this modest investment;
If you respond immediately, you get a FREE one-hour consult with me valued at $250. And I'd be surprised if during this consult I can't point out something which will more than save you the cost of the entire program;
In the unlikely event you're not absolutely delighted, I'll cheerfully refund your entire investment in full.
So don't wait - act now to add this lucrative 'string' to your 'bow'
Yours for better hydraulics knowledge,
Brendan Casey

P.S. #1 Like everyone else on the supply side of the hydraulics industry I make a hellava lot more from maintenance failures than I do from failure prevention. My fee for sorting out the maintenance disaster described in the above case study ran to five figures. And I get offered more of this type of work than I can take on. I don't tell you this to brag, but to make the point that I really don't mind if you sit on your hands. But understand the price of doing nothing is much, much higher than taking action today.
P.S. #2 Don't forget, by responding right away, you get a FREE one-hour consult with me - valued at $250 and I'd be surprised if during this consult I can't point to something which will more than save you the cost of your entire investment in this program. But be quick, because I can't do this for everyone.
P.S. #3 And remember, as Benjamin Franklin once said: "An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest."
